I was absolutely delighted with the excellent service I received from the Sasolmed consultant. He understood my enquiry, attended to it promptly, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was resolved.

Recently, my GP in Cape Town retired and sold her practice to another doctor. After I provided the new details, the consultant checked whether the new GP was on the Sasolmed network of GPs. When he found they were not, he immediately took the initiative to resolve the matter.

He arranged a quick conference call with the practice (including myself) to explain the process and advise them of the necessary forms, which he would also send via email. He further assured me that he would inform me once all the changes had been completed.

It is a rare privilege to receive service that is not only efficient, but also polite, informed, and genuinely supportive.

Turning a decline into a resolution

A service provider recently submitted an account to Sasolmed, which was initially declined because no pre-authorisation had been obtained. When I contacted the scheme to resolve the matter, the consultant I spoke with took complete control of the situation.

He promptly coordinated with the relevant department to amend and correct the previous decision. Within minutes, he confirmed that the matter had been fully reversed and resolved.
